Lusha vs hubsell

Lusha is a lightweight contact-lookup tool with no outreach layer. hubsell sources contacts live for your search, validates them, then runs email and LinkedIn as one flow, billed per contact. Here's how the two differ.

TL;DR

Lusha is a lightweight contact-lookup tool, a Chrome extension that reveals emails and phone numbers, popular with smaller teams for quick one-off lookups. It is credit based, a phone reveal costs up to ten times an email, it is charged per seat with a free tier, and its database skews heavily to North America. There is no outreach layer at all. hubsell sources contacts live for your search, validates them, and runs email and LinkedIn as one flow, billed per contact.

Lusha makes sense if you want a simple, cheap way to grab a contact off LinkedIn now and then, and you do your outreach elsewhere. hubsell makes sense if you want fresh data plus coordinated outreach in one tool, especially outside North America where Lusha's coverage thins out.

The core difference

Lusha is a lookup utility, fast and simple, built partly on community-contributed data where users share contacts in exchange for credits, and skewed toward the US. It does the find-a-number job and stops there: no sequencing, no LinkedIn automation, no email outreach. hubsell sources live and runs the whole flow.

Credit for credit, Lusha is cheap to start and easy to use, which is the real reason teams pick it up. The trade is coverage and accuracy: independent tests return a usable contact far less often than the headline numbers suggest, and the gap widens outside North America.

Data quality

Lusha markets 98 percent email deliverability and around 85 percent phone accuracy. Independent tests and user reports put usable coverage and accuracy well below that, with one March 2026 test returning emails for about 31 percent of lookups and accuracy dropping further outside North America. The database is partly community sourced, which is part of why quality varies. hubsell sources and validates at the point of use.

Pricing

Lusha pricing: a free tier of 40 to 70 credits a month, Pro about $29 to $30 per user per month on annual billing, Premium about $52 to $70 per user per month, and Scale custom. It is per seat, phone reveals cost about ten times an email, and annual credits do not roll over.

hubsell is €120 per user per month plus €0.10 per LinkedIn contact and €0.50 per enriched and validated contact.

Which should you choose?

Choose hubsell if

Teams that want fresh data plus coordinated email and LinkedIn outreach in one place, billed per contact, with better coverage outside North America and no per-seat credit bottleneck.

Choose Lusha if

Smaller teams and individuals who want a fast, low-cost Chrome extension for occasional, US-centric contact lookups and do not need outreach, accepting thinner coverage outside North America and usable hit rates that independent tests put well below the headline claims.

hubsell’s automation has enabled us to reach and convert more partners and clients than any other platform or channel I’ve ever used. Our company simply wouldn’t have scaled without it.
