CRM sync

CRM sync is the automatic flow of contact and activity data between your outreach tools and your CRM, so both stay current without manual entry.

Why it matters

Reps lose hours to copying activity into the CRM by hand, and what they skip leaves the pipeline wrong. CRM sync removes that manual step, so every send, open, and reply is logged on its own. The result is accurate reporting a leader can trust, and reps who spend their time selling instead of updating records.

How it works in practice

CRM sync connects the outreach system to the CRM and keeps records aligned. In a one-way setup, activity flows from the outreach tool into the CRM. In a two-way sync, changes in either system update the other, so a status change in the CRM reflects back in outreach. Good sync maps each activity to the right contact, deal, and field, and runs in real time rather than as a nightly batch.

Common mistakes

A common mistake is relying on manual entry or nightly exports, which leaves the CRM stale between updates. Another is middleware that needs constant maintenance and breaks quietly. A third is syncing without clean field mapping, so activities land on the wrong records and reporting drifts.

How hubsell approaches it

hubsell logs every send, open, and reply to Salesforce, HubSpot, or Pipedrive automatically, with two-way sync in real time and no middleware to maintain, so the pipeline reflects what actually happened.
